Umikaji Terrace is a terraced cluster of cafés, restaurants and shops on the west slope of Senagajima, a small island joined by road to the coast of Tomigusuku City about 1.5 km south of Naha Airport. It opened in 2015, and aircraft on the airport’s approach pass low overhead, which is half the attraction.
It is roughly 10 minutes by car from the airport, which makes it the easiest stop on the first or last day of an Okinawa trip. The mapcode points at the terrace itself, and the car park is large, around 600 spaces. Shops generally open 10:00 to 20:00 and restaurants 11:00 to 21:00.
